Coming home from work at 12:30pm last night a see police car with light flashing then right by the entrance to Camp Long. I get closer and there are probably 10 to 12 Police cars out on 35th and down into the entrance to camp long. Anyone hear anything? Related to the gang shooting earlier?

No, there was a report of possibly some people in the park up to no good, we had somebody monitoring that for a while. According to a one I have, it may be linked to this morning's SWAT standoff (covering that at http://westseattleblog.com/?p=79951 )
Well I'd love to hear the whole story. WSB is there a link to SPD somewhere? My daughter claims to have met some people around 10ish having a birthday party there...sounded fishy then fishier now. Plus evidently my car got locked inside the camp...anybody have any ideas when the park opens?? That girl is going to put my in an early grave, but she won't be driving my car to do it anymore!!!

kellym, the park is open 10 - 6, Tues through Sunday. I hope you and your daughter get through this rough period in her life.
