do you have limits as far as rent is concerned? Any particular area of West Seattle you're interested in?
I'd like to keep payment negotiations between parties, but for the sake of practicality let's say that $1800 per month is a hard cap and we would have to be blown away to get there. Would like to be under $1500.
As far as location is West Seattle - we don't know the intricacies of WS well enough to count areas out. I'd love to hear suggestions!
There is one on 41st Ave. SW between Hanford and Hinds, (Admiral District, 2 blocks off of California) It's listed as $1495 I think? It is a house so I would assume it's at least 2 bedrooms.
Neighborhood/area looks great -

This is right up our alley!
In the junction area across the street from True Value there is a house for rent. I don't know anything about it. It looks like a nice place from the little bit I saw. I will try to get a phone number for you.
@celeste17 thanks! I'll check the thread tomorrow.
There's a house at 37th and Willow-ish that's a 3 bedroom...sign out front for rent. I think it's about $1600/month in a good neighborhood.
and if you're not a football person, take a ride around some of the neighborhoods. There are quite a few "for rent" signs out and about, and they don't necessarily advertise.
All three of those locations are decent areas, although the True Value one may be on a bit busier street. 41st around Hinds would be a really nice area, near public transportation, too. Not too far from the grocery stores in Admiral District, near Hiawatha Park, restaurants.
only advice i can give is to avoid certain rental agencies in west seattle. bad experiences.
This all sounds great. Any areas to avoid?
