Lhasa Apso Needs a home

  1. Story: Basically I was notified of 2 dogs left in a car WITH food and water. (this is not illegal food and shelter) I left my info. She has informed that she needs to re home the Lhasa. He is white (he needs a little work in the fur department) of course he is NOT fixed.(this of course will happen ASAP) He is great with kids, dogs and cats. This lady is semi homeless, no job ect. She has been trying.

So if interested in meeting him, you will just have to get a hold of me and I can make the arrangements.

And "etc." (et cetera). Since we're peevin'. I'm less sure on how to spell "shitzu," however...

  7. Not sure what 'peevin' is. I was just trying to clarify what kind of dog is was that is looking for a home. It is a shih tzu though, not a Lhasa, according to the owner. To me it is just a small, hairy looking dog. To potential homes, there might be a difference.

Oops, sorry, I misread your post. You were not peevin'. :) The extent of my knowledge on shih tzus is limited to having seen "Best in Show" about 36 times, but yes, I'm sure it would matter to a potential owner.

Thanks for the break, back to the salt mines now...

  9. Well the Wash Dog has graciously donated to "clean" him up. Thanks. I am getting him today. So if anyone between now and sunday would like to meet him, again give me a call.

  13. I can't do a picture, as my phones jpg is to big. He is a mess LOL but a orangish/tan and white.

AS for potty training yes/no. I guess he won't let you know when he needs to go out, so you need to stay on top of that. Now since he is 3 he marks everything so far this has happened once. He is good with cats does chase them but he wants to play. Of course wants to hump my females dogs. He is GREAT in a crate and the best thing he is NOT a barker.

He will be going to Northwest International Pet Rescue they are located in Edmonds. nwinternationalpetrescue@gmail.com

Until he gets fixed I personally don't think he is a very bright dog. LOL He doesn't seem to be food motivated either. Lots of info I know.

He doesn't know any commands other than leave it or come here:)

  14. It was reported to me that he was a perfect gentleman for his bath and haircut yesterday. They took him outside for relief and he whizzed in the appropriate spots, stood perfectly still for his haircut and got along great with other dogs. He'll be a great pet after his snip.

  15. YES perfect gentleman, rather funny watching him spin circles on his butt. He will be going to the rescue sometime today. As long as I put him out about every hour he does ok. He actually did give me a sign he needed to go out.

Again HUGE THANKS TO THE DOG WASH FOR CLEANING HIM UP.
