Korokas - Wonderful Greek Restaurant!!

    Kokoras (6400 1/2 California, near Thriftway) is a fantastic, family-run restaurant. I love the food, especially the savory lamb dishes. The consistently good meals are served with affordable prices, huge portions, and friendly staff. The restaurant greets you with cozy colors and decor, with many items from Greece adorning the walls. This is my favorite neighborhood get-away, where I am greeted by the owners and given a homemade meal with a familiar smile!

    Hype them up on yelp.com or other review sites. It's a favourite place for some others on the blog.

    I agree, the place rocks. Dinner can be a little expensive, until you realize that you just got enough food for three meals, and I eat a lot! The nice lady that works there is like the classic greek mom always wanting you to eat more and is just so sweet!
