   Hey all, our Nickelsville swingset is just about ready for the kids!

   All we need now, to make it safe for the kids, are some kind of anchors for the swingset, and wood chips to spread on the ground.

   Any help would be greatly appreciated!

   Hope all have had a safe and happy Independence Day!

   Hi Mike, I raised an extra 10.00 for the swing set that I gave Jo and I think she was going to by wood chips for the ground. What types of anchors do you need? Something heavy?

   We have the tie-downs (which may be what you need. Tried to deliver tonight but no one heard my honks (can't quite do the steps yet.) I'll try again in the morning, around 9. :-)

   Charla, we may have just missed each other, as I was heading to the bus around 9:00-ish. Hopefully someone was able to help you.

   Celeste, it sounds as though Charla has the anchors handled, but yeah, I'd guess something heavy. We're not supposed to disturb the soil, and I believe that includes that back section where the swing is, so we'd probably have to go with something very heavy, as opposed to something that could be pounded into the ground.

   Joanne has been taking a much needed and deserved break from NV, but I believe will be back starting tomorrow, (Wed.) I'll be gone much of the day, but will try to catch up with her.

   I'm wondering if the mom with the baby is still at NV? If so do they have any specific needs that are currently unfulfilled.

   the "mom and baby" found housing some time ago so i am unaware of their current needs.

   but they will not be the last mom and baby at Nickelsville :(

    great idea.
    finally got the word that helpline does attempt to offer services to nickelsville residents so I think mom's have access to West Side Baby through them.

    i have already sent a couple of mothers there.

    swingset should be up and functional tomorrow
    they were working on it today...
    and steps..
