JlynncoxMemberSo I know West Seattle has the Sunday Farmers Market (where local produce is sold), but is there a West Seattle Craft Market? I only ask this because from what I’ve researched only local produce can be sold at the Farmers Market. I would love to visit a weekly/monthly craft market (where vintage items are sold as well), but can’t find one in our community. If there is nothing available, is this a market the community would be interested in? I really feel like West Seattle needs this. Your thoughts?

PangolinPieParticipantI would love something like this! Too bad they can’t expand the farmer’s market into another lot and add crafts.

trickycooljParticipantI think the Fremont Sunday Market is big enough it would overshadow anything we could add to our Farmers Market. I could be wrong, but Fremont isn’t that far away.

ghar72ParticipantLast month WSB had a story about a swap meet/flea market starting up in White Center. It’d be cool if it had a crafty bend to it.

WSBKeymasterThere is nothing regular. But I believe what (WSB sponsor) Center Studio in White Center is doing next weekend is along those lines – not sure if Lonjina is still recruiting but you could ask:

wrenMemberHi JLynnCox
I would be interested in an occasional craft market. Want to talk? I am also interested in meeting other artists in the West Seattle area who would be interested in getting together once or twice a month to make art together and inspire each other. I have a good size space in my home.
