This cat came to Friends of the Animals Foundation through two other rescues. Her foster home noticed that something was not right. Below is their plea for your help.
"Lady Jane is a thoughtful, gentle, mellow young lady at just 1.5 years of age. She has thick, plush silver-dusted gray fur that is just gorgeous in person, and her eyes are gooseberry green. She tends lovingly and patiently to her 10 week old kitten and keeps us company while reading or watching TV. When she has something very important to say, she speaks in a soft mew. Watching the birds come and go and chatting at them is a favorite past-time of hers. Because of her compromised hip and knee, due to a dog attack when she was just a kitten, Lady Jane is not as active as she would like to be, though she tries her best to explore and keep up with the other cats. Clearly, though, she just can't, and her leg seems to bother her after being up and around or in one position too long. Surgery is desperately needed to herlp her live a normal, mobile life, and to prevent further damage and possible amputation. This beautiful girl has had a challenging life in just 1.5 years and deserves a new beginning."
