infant daycare

  1. I am just beginning the search for infant daycare that we'll need starting probably around January of next year. I am clueless at how to start investigating childcare so this seemed like a great place to start. My husband and I both work in the south end but live in WS. I also work in education and would just need care 3 days/week and preferably would like to opt out during school breaks. I have no ideal if that's a realistic wish or not. Any local recommendations would be helpful. Thanks!

We have been very happy with the care provided by Growing Footprints Learning Center in the south end of West Seattle. Our 2.5 year old is thriving there, and there are a couple of infants in care there as well. This is in-home care, and the owner/caregiver does a wonderful job of providing an atmosphere of love and learning. You can email her at growingfootprints@gmail.com

My son is one of the infants at Growing FootPrints and I am extremely happy with how he is doing and how he is cared for there. I would highly recommend them and would be happy to answer any questions.
