I live in the Highland Park area, not far from the Westcrest dog park, and while I love dogs, I don't own one (just can't swing it between work and other busy life matters). But I love to walk, and I would like to volunteer to walk your dog, if you don't live too far away. I typically take long walks on weekends when it's not pouring, and after work when it's light out in the spring and summer.
I figured that there are probably people who own dogs that would love to go to the park, but for whatever reason they don't want to or cannot walk them, and I just enjoy being around dogs, and walking, so I thought I might see if anyone would be interested in having their pup taken out for a jaunt. No charge, just the enjoyment of walking, maybe throwing a ball if your dog enjoys that.
I hope this doesn't come across as strange or creepy; I just feel like my long walks are wasted without a happy furry critter when I'm sure there are many of them out there who'd like to go along. My email address is pangolinpie@gmail.com if you have any questions or are interested. Please also let me know if this post isn't appropriate for this forum. Thanks!
