I need to chip a couple branches; will trade...

  1. I have some plum branches trimmed from a tree that I would really like to chip up for my smoker. Will bring branches to your chipper.

I will also bring a piece of smoked salmon for the trade.

  8. Send email to the Tool Library folks - I'll betcha they could look up who has the chipper checked out and hook you up. Seeing as how they're into sharing stuff and things :-)

My dad just got a pretty big chipper a couple of weeks ago. Just took off today fishing with my son but they'll be back on Saturday. If you are still looking for a chipper on saturday send me an email mprodrig at comcastdotcom

I have seen a pile of chipped wood behind SSCC in the garden area. Try contacting the garden section and see if they can chip them for you on site and give you the chippings. They have a really big chipper.
I can just hear Ed Sullivan say "a really big one".

  12. pdieter, I have a smallish chipper that will handle up to 1.25" diameter. Is that too small? I haven't used it on "real" wood, so don't know how it will come out, but we can try.

I'll try your direct email as well.
