    Modification. Complex Case.
A pitbull would be great. Urgent. Thanks.

  2. Not in West Seattle (her office is downtown) but Ruth Laura Edlund is awesome. She handled our complex custody matter wonderfully. She can do mediation when it's called for, but she's absolutely a pitbull when it's appropriate.

Rite Bender is the pit bull. Rebecca Morrow is in the same office and is verrrrrrry good as well.

Another vote for Ruth Laura Edlund. She has an excellent reputation in our legal community for her hard work and diligence.

I work for a family law attorney. We're located at 4th and University, but we both live in West Seattle. Her name is Frances Turean and has a lot of experience. Here's her AVVO page with client reviews: http://www.avvo.com/attorneys/98101-wa-frances-turean-26942.html

Give me a call if you want to chat: (206) 838-1720

And, I do leave West Seattle! :)
I will call these leads. Keep them coming. Finding a good match and brilliant atty can be a challenge. No children involved.

I've known her for years and have worked with her through two very challenging cases. HIGHLY recommended. Her assistant's name is Lesley Roberts. In addition to law practice, Deb also is a pro tem judge.

If you need to know whom to avoid, I know some of them, too.

I totally agree with Irukandji re Debbie Bianco. She is principled, hard-working, and detail-oriented, and had the strong work ethic to discover pitfalls another lawyer was too lazy and complacent to explore. Lesley Roberts was easy to work with. Debbie is scrupulous about representing your interests and actually gave me a refund from the retainer fee. Unheard of. And appreciated.

I can also highly recommend Deb Bianco. I have never had to personally use her services but I have worked with her. She is tenacious and works hard for her clients.

If you want pit bull: Wolfgang Anderson. Not for the faint of heart. Reasonable.
