  2. We don't have private messaging enabled - security hole in the feature was never fixed. Still looking! Hopefully if anyone comments here you all can get in contact *somehow*. I always advise that people who don't want to publicize the e-mail address they use regularly, also have one they only use in a circumstance like this, a Gmail (or other) address you can create quickly and almost forget about till next time you need it ...

Oh, sorry. I'm ok posting my email.

    It's robin@teamkona.com

I can't find anything in the wallet to contact the person but I think they likely don't read the blog. I could be wrong. Maybe I'll just take it to the police precinct? Is that what one typically does? It's a goofy situation because my dog got loose (leashed, from the back yard, while I watched to see how she was escaping) and when I ran through the gate to grab her, she had this wallet in her mouth. It was literally about 4 minutes from seeing her jump over, leash trailing, to running out the gate and around to the back ally. Darndest thing.

  4. I guess that's better than having the wallet AND the remains of some guys pants in her mouth ;-)

  5. Try calling the precinct before going down to make sure someone is there. But I have seen "found property" police reports. I'm sharing via Facebook in case anybody there knows anything - but didn't want to do that without some contact info. Thanks for caring enough to go to all this trouble!!!

JanS - hee hee. I just hope she didn't steal it from the guy. She's a rescue and I have no history on her past life. Hope she wasn't a street urchin trained to steal.

WSB re: Facebook, good idea. I'll call the precinct tomorrow. And it's no trouble. We're all west seattlite neighbors.
