Huge prawns at Safeway on sale 12/12/10 $5 pound

Not sure how long this will be on sale. Sunday evening at Jefferson Square Safeway. Large cooked prawns about the size of your thumb. Club card special - $5 per pound. Seen 12/12/10

What recipe? They are already cooked. A little cocktail sauce and touch of lemon juice perhaps.

I stopped eating inexpensive shrimp after learning most of it is "farmed" shrimp from places like Viet Nam. My partner was there a few years ago and told me about the disgusting waterways where sewage and garbage float around where these shrimp "farms" are. So, I'm sorry to be such a downer, but before you buy, find out where the food is from.
