House painter and gutter replacement wanted

  1. We're getting our siding replaced (with fiber cement, in case that matters) and are looking for someone to paint it when it's done, which should be within the next couple of weeks.

We're also looking for someone to replace our gutters.

Obviously, these need not be the same service. Our contractor is awesome but does neither of these things. Know someone equally awesome who does? Lemme know! Thanks in advance!

  2. Jim Knott - Paint the Town. 938-5835 - paintthetownseattle.com. Local guy who does a really great job! He also does some handyman services, so you might ask him about your gutters.

  4. For local gutter guy - we used http://www.levellinegutters.com/Home.html - replaced ours years ago and they've held up really well. I remember he was very good about making sure all the nails and bits of metal were cleaned up after.

  6. We just had Williamson Bros. paint our house. I cannot stay enough GREAT things about them. Brian and his crew are fantastic and our house looks AMAZING!!! It was worth every penny. I can't stop looking at my house!

  8. Another vote for Level Line. They did a great job and were very efficient. I got quotes from three companies and they were in the middle cost wise. Plus they did a follow up call. Considering painting the house so this is great info. :0)

  9. Level Line replaced my gutters 10 years ago and I have no complaints with either the company or the quality of its work and materials. If I had it to do over, I'd be sure to have the new gutters installed AFTER the house and trim were repainted. And I'd be absolutely sure that the new gutter downspouts were configured so they drained either into rain barrels or onto splash blocks instead of draining into the old standpipes to the city storm sewers. Call City Utilities and ask about its incentives for disconnecting old standpipes.

Yup. Level Line. *Super* price for the quality of work. The guy is a gutter guru who won't sell you won't you don't need. Efficient. Honest. Fast.
