I need recommendations for good hot wings in West Seattle. I haven't had good wings in years and I'm craving them badly.

I second the Feedback recommendation. They're really good!

Third Feedbacks wings... They are an art!

The Rocksport used to have the best..(:

Rocksport did have the best wings! OMG. But Feedbacks wings are good, too. I like the ancho wings at Matador. The wings at the Bridge are icky.

any places that you can enjoy wings without getting a babysitter? usually we find ourselves at Fresh Bistro, la rustica, etc, when we have a babysitter.

I love Feedback's too, but I can totally relate to finding a place where you can bring a kid. I've seen wings at Terrible Beauty, but have never tried them (they did look good).

I'm going to grab this opportunity to state/ask about something that has bugged me for at least a decade! Why when you order or purchase "wings" is there usually a combination of both "wings AND drumettes"? Am I just turning OC in my eldering age? And I guess it just bugs me because I find "drumettes" immensely easier and more satisfying to eat than "wings." ... And now I think I've just talked myself completely off of chicken altogether.

High Strike Grill at the bowling alley! Excellent wings (drumettes only I think). Those plus one of their special of the day salads makes a great meal. And no problem with kids there, either.

"good wings" is a very subjective thing...
If you are looking for classic Buffalo style wings, the best place (IMNSHO) is the High Strike Grill.
2nd best is Elliot Bay Brewery (Note: EBB used to
have the best buffalo style wings many years ago. Then they went in a different direction. I tried them again recently and they are back to close to a Buffalo style.)Both are kid friendly. EBB is *too* kid friendly for me, but..
Feedback wings are also good, but not really Buffalo Style.

I'll throw out there - they are really easy and so freaking good at home. Cookie sheet covered with foil. Dry good chicken (Thriftway has wings that have a lot of meat on them). Salt and pepper and throw them in a hot oven (like 400 degrees) Turn them to brown all sides. Melt butter and Franks Hot Sauce (you can have a little or a lot) and toss them once they are out in the sauce. Eat with blue cheese or ranch. I love wings - and have found making them at home to be (a high calorie) HOT awesome way to get my fix in.

Luna Park Cafe has wings they are pretty good. I'm not sure if Elliot Bay has them.
