Help on Alki

    My daughter and I were biking/skating on Alki on Tuesday July 6th around 2:45. Just wanted to thank those kind strangers who helped my daughter who fell off her bike. I didn't know she had fallen as I had skated ahead of her. Once I noticed I quickly rushed back to her. They made sure she was ok and set her biked down. I didn't get their names. Thanks so much.
    Also, thanks to Paul who helped me after I fell on my inline skates when trying to get back to the car to get my daughter. I fell in front of Saltys and I was really banged up bad. He went into Saltys and was able to get some antiseptic spray, wipes, bandaids and ice. He jogged back with me to make sure I got to my car alright. Thank you very kind people. Great to live in West Seattle

    Glad to hear that you & your daughter found help when you needed it! Paul is one of my neighbors & mentioned this incident to me. I'll make sure he sees your posting. Take care!

    So sorry you both fell. I skate too and it's no fun to fall. Glad you are both OK, though!!

    my son ran into someone and this poor man was bleeding all the way down his leg. he was really nice about it but made me realize..that I need to carry a first aid kit with me when we go riding. I will always have one on me if anyone needs help. Just look for the Red Pedicab.
