   Furry Faces Foundation is hosting a ‘Heels For Hounds’ silent auction and wine tasting event in late March 2013/early April. In order to firm up the event date, we need at least 200 pairs of gently, or never worn, women's shoes as we want to make sure there is a wide selection of shoes.

   Do you have shoes you have barely worn, that you are willingly to donate? Just think, if you donate a pair, it will leave room in your closet to purchase a new pair!

   Our business friends want to make it easy for you to support so just stop by one of their stores and drop off your shoes.

    don't laugh
    somewhere out there is an enterprising person trying to figure out how to craft dog booties that look like tennies for our nation's pets..

    i think they should look to combat boots myself...

    dogs paws are a lot more fragile than we think

    It's the weekend! Time to go through our shoes; donate the gently worn ones to Furry Faces; then go shopping for new ones!

    We've received 50+ shoes in the past week! Yeah! And looking forward to more.

    Talaki34, Yes it does! In fact, the shoes don't have to be heels either. Just gently worn, women's shoes.

    Woohoo! We are at about 115 pairs of shoes!

    Please share with friends and co-workers. As soon as we get to 200 pairs, we can announce the date of actual 'Heels For Hounds' event!

    Hi Everyone!
    JoB's and EmmyJane's comments on a different post nudged us to remind everyone that we are still accepting donations of gently worn/never worn women's shoes. They can be heels, flats, sports shoes, sandals...you name it. We are getting close to 200 pairs and would LOVE to blow that number out of the water!

    Please feel free to share this request with friends, family, FB...anyone you think would have women's shoes to donate.
