Hazzards of the bike comute

    I've had three flat tires in the last week on my rides to and from work. I found two of the three as I was leaving work in the evening - thought it was just me.

    Yup, it sucks getting a flat on a bike. I was a victim of the "tacking". Minor inconvenience though...maybe 10 minutes of downtime to replace/patch a tube. It's almost expected on the streets of Seattle, and everyone riding a bike should be prepared.

    Karma will suck for the "tacker". Imagine the outrage if nails were found in the roads! I'd rather have a flat on a bike than with a car. Just keep in mind how much better it is to travel by bike than a car! ;)
