Happy Labor Day

    Take a minute to thank the union members who have brought us the weekend, the eight-hour work day, the five-day work week, holidays, vacations, sick pay, overtime, job protection, Worker's Comp, health and safety regulations and child labor laws. Even if you've never worked in a union shop, you've received benefits resulting from their sacrifices. Thank you!

    Unions created our strong middle class
    union busting has nearly destroyed it

    it's time we thought about what unions do for us
    and what we can do for them
    before thousands have to die again to regain what we now take for granted
