Hair Styling for Older Women

  1. I'm looking for a place that will do wash and set for my mom, who is 86. They don't do hair that way anymore, generally, so who around here does well for older women? Thanks!

  2. Jessica at Forsythe does it for my grandma who is also in her 80's -- not sure if it's just b/c she's been an existing client for 15+ years or not but you could call and ask.

    I think also the Asst. living facilities often have hair salon's, think I've seen it at Merrill Gardens (admiral) when I used to volunteer to call BINGO. Wouldn't hurt to try Mt. St. Vincent either, they have a lot of services for their facility.

I am pretty sure that in the past few years of dealing with Illusions Hair Design (WSB sponsor) that, while they also do trendy work, I've seen regal older ladies with that classic hairstyle there ... so you might give them a call too if you haven't already solved this: http://www.illusionshairdesign.com - TR
