whew!
Yeah Gabriele! :) I am glad you found her. I didn't know you were on this blog. :)
Man, what a morning this was! But I can't say enough how helpful Seattle PD was! Absolutely outstanding!
Monica, I only got on here on suggestion of the police officer, he totally knew what to do and I even got a ride in a police car lol...they were not made for comfort, huh?
Hooray from a fellow greyhound owner!
Another hooray from another greyhound owner. A loose greyhound is not something pleasant to contemplate. On another topic, I think it would be great if West Seattle greyhound owners could organize some kind of playgroup. We've been going to Snohomish occasionally, which is inconvenient to say the least.
We only made it to a couple of the greyhound meet-ups in Snohomish because it's not very convenient. But our lovely girl is never happier than when she is running and playing with other greyhounds. She clearly misses living with other dogs and whimpers anytime we see any other dog.
We'd love to see a greyhound gathering at Westcrest!
To anyone who is not a greyhound owner - you may be surprised to learn about how sweet and gentle these dogs are, many of which need homes. As an added bonus, our greyhound is a fun conversation starter wherever we go with her.

I don't own greyhounds, but I know there used to be a greyhound group who met Sunday mornings at Robinswood Park in Bellevue (right off of I-90, near Bellevue Community College). I know this because I have Jack Russells, who look like rabbits to greyhounds, so I'd always avoid that area during that time. Luckily they have two off leash areas. :) They sure looked beautiful running at full speed.
My beautiful Ariel passed nearly 5 years ago & I miss her terribly I came to the rescue of 2 other rescues who needed me but I look forward to the day I can share my life with a Grey again! They are some WONDERFUL gentle animals so kind & loving. You need NOT be an athlete or have a farm to live with a Greyhound just a cozy couch and a daily walk.
