In addition to the play field.
How it got there, nobody knows since there are NO DOGS ALLOWED ON THE TRACK OR ON THE FIELD.
Selfish, inconsiderate, morons(the owners, not the dogs :~))

How do you know it came out of a dog?
Thats what I was going to ask. Thats Coyote territory for sure. So Smitty, did you do the right thing for all those kids that play on the field and pick it up or did you just walk right on by?
It was already squished in, ick! And, if I pick it up - it's just an incentive for the rule breakers to keep doing it.
Since there are dogs walking around every day I just *assumed* it was a dog. I suppose a Johnny Cochran type lawyer could make the case that it was a coyote!
No dogs peeps!
Well Smitty since you walk the track, it does also affect you, or at least your shoes. I live right there so if you want a handful of corn based bio friendly poop bags just let me know.
That's pretty socialist of you Carson, better watch out.
In fact, asking dog owners to help others by cleaning up after themselves smells kinda socialist too, not even addressing the idea of a nanny state that tells you where you can and can't put your dog. Damn liberals. Next they're going to be putting dog owners in ghettoes. Nazis.
Carson, but if I pick up their poop they will just keep doing it.
Maybe I should pick it up and put it all in a big pile next to the NO DOGS ALLOWED sign. Problem is, I gag every time I pick up my own dogs poop! Yuck!
I guess I could pick it up and put it in Austin's parking strip since he thinks its no big deal?
Smitty...
picking up poop that is already deposited
won't encourage other owners to let their dogs poop on the track...
but a clean track
might remind them that this is no place to walk a dog...
as for that gag thing
desensitization works wonders
pick up more poo
you'll get over it.
By my calculations I have picked up at least 7,300 poops. Still gag.
The track was clean and they still brought their dogs and still let it poop.
No dogs allowed should not be debatable.
No.
Dogs.
Allowed.
I don't know what a "parking strip" is but the area between the sidewalk and the street doesn't have any more room for dook*. You'll have to leave it on the sidewalk as others have been doing lately.
*oop, no, someone's dog just proved me wrong.
Also the thread currently below this one in the forum list is titled "A Steaming Pile".
Hear me, People of Earth!
If you do not mend your ways, your planet will be entombed beneath an impenetrable mantle of dog feces.
This is your final warning.

DP, funny question, do you drive a Maroon Subaru?
Um, I just walked my dogs next to the track the other day, I guess I didn't see the signs. So dogs are not allowed anywhere in that big grassy area?
This will never happen again, I swear! Oh and, no poops from my pups.
What ever happened to that West Seattle area web site that someone had created for posting pictures of off leash violations and other dog control issues?
Does anyone know if it is still around? It was posted on the WSB forums a couple of years back.
No Carson, I do not drive a Maroon Subaru.
Why, did you witness said vehicle fleeing the scene of some crime of passion?
No, but I just passed one on the bridge, covered in anti war, pro peace and pro bike riding stickers and I said to myself, that must be your car!!!
Remain calm. It's going to rain this afternoon. All gone..

Speaking of dog poop...do you think if they ticketed people that do not pick up after their dogs or have them on a leash for that matter the city could afford to keep up our parks?
For instance....that horrible chainlink fence at Lincoln Park? Apparently the city doesn't have the funds to take that down even though the pool closed um....2+ months ago.
I did it. Sorry.
Thanks for your honesty, Boblobslob,
But you need to start taking immodium.
