   Hey - what's the easiest/cheapest way to get to Seatac from Delridge area? Looks like $24 a day parking, that's insane.. I imagine a bus goes there but are there any marginally more expensive but more convenient / safer ways?

   There are a couple of shuttle services but I don't know the names of the companies.

   A cab will run you $35-40 with tip.

   any experience with doug fox parking? saw they have a lot near seatac with a shuttle, currently running a coupon for $44 for 4 days, which is how long we'll be gone

   The shuttle companies seem to cost almost the same as a cab, and they make you leave at insanely early hours compared to your flight in order to make their guarantee of getting you there on time. So if you don't want to take public transit, a taxi would be best. Maplesyrup is correct in the $35/$40 estimate each way.

   I have not used Doug Fox parking, but I know a former coworker used them and recommended them highly. However, that was several years ago (as she's retired a few years), so I don't know how that may have changed. We have used Masterpark and have been happy with them - you can often find coupons for them too.

   If you do take public transit, you would have a choice of going downtown and then taking the light rail, or you could take the 120 down Delridge and transfer to the 560 which you could pick up in White Center or Burien. I often take the 560 from the Junction and while it's a long ride, it's definitely the cheapest option.

   I too have had good luck with Doug Fox in the past, however recently have been using Masterpark. The best deal at the moment seems to be WallyPark - they have a brand new garage and are charging $9.95 per day before tax.

   If it's more than one person, a cab or town car (my preference) is a better deal than Shuttle Express. You get a private ride for $30-40. That system broke down for my wife and I two years ago before Christmas because of the snow (town car companies canceled trips; Shuttle Express made us walk miles to a hotel pick-up point), but it has worked well in the past.

   We just scheduled a pickup at 4 a.m. on the 23rd with a town car company rated highly on Yelp. We were quoted $30 (for two people) from the Alaska Junction area to Sea-Tac.

   We have used Wally Park for when we park. Check their website to see if there are any coupons to be had. Check all the web sites for coupons. There is budget, wally park, doug fox right off the top of my head. You could also do a search for airport parking at sea-tac. Wally park just built a new garage and is doing heavy advertising.

    I often take the bus to White Center and then pick up the 560 to Sea-Tac, as others mentioned. Unless you have a ton of luggage it's a great way to go.

    We have had excellent service using taxis for the last four years. You can call the cab companies in advance and schedule a pick up. In our experience, they have always arrived ahead of the scheduled time and have never been late.
    We only use Shuttle Express when we have a party large enough to occupy the whole van. The vans will have multiple pick ups scheduled to fill the van. The last two times we used them, the other parties were not ready when the van arrived resulting in everyone in the van being delayed in their arrival at the airport.
    (Yes, per the rant rules, we did complain to the company the last time. We specifically requested a really early arrival at the airport becuase we had someone on crutches who was going to need wheel chair assistance in the airport. We almost missed our flight because of the other party in the van. It's been over four years, so I don't recall their exact response but the result for us is to only use them when our party will occupy the entire van.)

    I travel to the airport a lot and pretty much always use Yellow Cab - I have also found them to be reliable with scheduled calls, if they are in the early morning. The last few mid-day reservations were late and caused me stress! From Gatewood Hill, with tip, it is usually around $40.

    For parking, we always use MasterPark Lot B - very convenient, excellent "valet" service, and good prices.
