Friend seeking apartment in West Seattle - Can you help?

  1. Hi, neighbors! My friend Renee is looking for an apartment in West Seattle. She has two very sweet dogs. One is an AKC Certified Good Citizen, which entitles her to work as a pet therapy dog, and the other is deaf, so he isn't a barker. They are medium-large doggies.

Frankly, I don't understand why many landlords allow small dogs, but not larger ones. I love dogs of any size, but the little guys tend to be noisier and are often more aggressive. My friends' dogs are quieter than the average puppy or baby, and not destructive.

If anyone knows of a West Seattle apartment that allows two quiet, well-behaved dogs, please email my friend, Renee, at reneemanfredi@hotmail.com.

  3. Thank you! I will pass those links along to Renee. I still don't understand the bias against larger dogs.

Try Mural. You could try Altamira too as I know they take medium dogs, but I know Mural takes really big dogs. And since Link (the new one going up on Alaska by Fauntleroy) is owned by the same Property Management co. as Mural, your friend might be able to get in there, too.

Strata in Morgan Junction and Stevens Crest in Alki accept larger dogs, too.
