I'm sure there's a place, but if you don't get other suggestions, I just have to recommend the refrigerated uncooked flour tortillas at Costco. You just cook them in a lightly-oiled pan on the stovetop and they are delicious. Pretty cheap, too, and they freeze wonderfully, so you can just thaw and cook as needed.
I don't know about West Seattle but in Burien at Guadalajara grocery on 128th behind Jack in the Box they make them fresh, so fresh you can buy them right off the tortilla press! Plus they have a great little restaurant that has scrumptious chili rellenos!
I will second the Guadalajara just off Ambaum. The tortillas they make are white CORN rather than yellow corn or flour. Fresh as fresh can be! And the price is awesome.
And it is a NICE grocery store with NICE owners. Check out their bakery and the deli for sure.
I will third the previous two suggestions, but it's called Guadalupe Market.
It is also one of the better places to find dried chilies.

And the Fajita meat is excellent. Buy a bunch and have friends over. It only take a few minutes to cook on the grill as it is sliced so thin.

Not West Seattle, but the grocery Mecca, Central Market in Shoreline, offers fresh flour tortillas to die for. Granted, a haul (or should I say a hajj?) from West Seattle.
Yeah, the marinated meats are great and a real time-saver. You can put together a Mexican feast for not much money, and your friends will think you are a culinary genius.
Cook the meat right on the coals (or very close), it cooks it real quick and it helps avoid flames.
SarahScoot, where in the store are those tortillas at Costco? I've heard about 'em before, and have looked, but couldn't find them.

dawsonct will correct me if i'm wrong, again :), but I'm pretty sure they only do white corn fresh. At least that is what I've seen them making every time I've gone in, which isn't ALL that many. I stock up :). BUT, they had many other types of other brands. It's really a place worth going and checking out.
dawsonct or anybody - what's the big difference between skirt steak and fajita meat? I'm use to seasoning skirt steak for the indoor grill, but I've never used fajita meat. I'm not even sure what it is.

wsgolfer, they are in the refrigerated section. It is a big pack of 40 or 50 tortillas. I have been tempted and now that I know they freeze well, I might give them a try. Thanks for the tip Sarah Scoot!
Well..... I knew it started with a 'G' - haha! I think just corn tortillas - which I prefer to flour anyway. I warm them either directly on my electric stove burner or in a pan - no oil just heated.
They have good fried pig skin too (I can't spell chichoroni (see!!) - some has big chunks of 'bacon'. We may have to head out there tomorrow now and get some of the marinated meat to try!
Dood, I've only seen them make white corn tortillas. Pretty certain that's all they make. If you are lucky enough to be there when they are making them, be sure to get a stack right off the line; they are so effing good, you'll eat them plain, right out of the bag. Sometimes I'll go over to the taqueria and just get a bunch of meat and scoop it up one tortilla after another.
They only seem to have them in stacks of fifty (two sizes), but they DO freeze well (separate them with parchment/wax paper or they freeze together), and they also have a really long shelf-life. I've uncovered some in the back of my fridge that I know are months old, and they still taste fine.
Fajita is basically just a preparation for skirt steak.
Careful with the chicharrons, which are sold by the pound, sometimes they have they single-cooked chicharron. You have to fry them to make them puffy and crispy. Make sure you get the fully cooked ones if you don't want to finish cooking them yourself.

B&E Meats in Burien sells a great Carne Asada...fresh tortillas, carne asada, avacado, salsa, margariatas...sounds like the perfect summer dinner to me, thanks for the idea!
So, at Guadalupe--- do they sell the fresh tortillas out of the cafe or are they somewhere else in the store? I've been through a few times but have never seen them.
When you walk in the front door, the area they make them is on the far left wall. Looks like a kitchen prep area. There's a short wall separating that space from the rest of the store. There are stacks and stacks of freshly bagged tortillas in front of that wall.
if a stack of 50 is daunting.. ask the guy running the machine to bag you a small stack... they don't get fresher than that.
