I just don’t have a spot for this lovely Quercus coccinea, which needs a spacious, forever home. It is currently 12 ft. tall, 3-4″ caliper, and approximately 9 years old. Digging it out may present a bit of a challenge, as it is in kind of a tight space and will require a substantial root ball.
I’d prefer that the tree not go to a rental home, as it’s future would be too uncertain. Oaks are not fond of moving. I may be able to provide a limited amount of assistance with the digging – but the advice is all free!
