FREE Puppy Play Class

    There is so much wrong with where this thread went ... I'm deleting everything except my request here:

    Please send community-event announcements to us for the Events calendar. A puppy meetup would qualify. I invite the puppy-meetup person to send us a note so I can add the event there, if you are interested. Besides events being in the calendar, we often mention them the day-of in the daily home-page preview ("West Seattle Tuesday," etc.):

    editor@westseattleblog.com

    Meantime: We VERY MUCH appreciate people taking the time to flag posts when you see something seriously awry - someone trying to mooch a free ad, someone namecalling, swearing, etc. - but on the converse, if someone is simply announcing a puppy meetup, or a preschooler meetup, or a board-game group, or ... please just let them do that.

    We often get inquiries from people who don't know about the Forums, who send us e-mail or call, asking, "is there someplace on WSB that I can (announce something, ask something, look for something)" and we point them here, hoping that also they might find reasons to stick around and chat ... but if the welcome they get is "you used the wrong word" or worse, why would they want to? Please be kind to each other. (Including, if you find yourself the target of unexpected criticism, fighting that with kindness too. )
