Found long hair orange and white adult cat

  1. Just found a long haired orange and white cat near my chicken coop. Poor thing had dug a hole in the shavings where it was dry. It didn't mind being held and happily went into a pet carrier. Has some mats and seems to have been outside for a little bit, not long enough to be starving, though. Sweet kitty - I'd like to find it's home.

It seemed a little overwhelmed by the kids so a neighbor is keeping it for a few days in hopes of not having to take it to the shelter.

No picture right now, it didn't want to come out of the carrier, will try tomorrow if no leads turn up.

    Please call Karen - 762-7710

Thank you for rescuing this kitty.

May want to see if your neighbor will take the kitty to one of the local Vet so the cat can be scan for a microchip. It's a free service and just might find the owner.

  3. I will try and take a picture and get the cat to a vet tomorrow for that, too. It's too late for us to do it tonight.

  4. More info - cat is male, no microchip and vet says he is dehydrated from being out and not eating. Please help find his home - he is so sweet and he can only be fostered for a few more days!

  5. Karen, I live within blocks of you and may be able to help with giving him a little landing pad until he finds home unless you and your neighbor have found another option for the furry guy. I'll be home most of tomorrow, so email me to talk further, syakymi@comcast.net.

Thank you for you/neighbor in taking him in and caring for him!

  9. Thank you Furry Faces - I spoke with Karen last night, so if she and her neighbor decide they need help to care for kitty until he finds home again, she knows she can get in contact with me. Many thanks for offering help with supplies!
