   Unfortunately we find ourselves against the wall fighting foreclosure and the attorney we were referred to is starting to seem a little flaky.... Anyone out there have a decent affordable foreclosure attorney recommendation? It would be great if we could find one in West Seattle....

   I recommend checking out this site: http://www.dfi.wa.gov/consumers/homeownership/
   and look into getting matched up with one of the lawyers working with the Home Foreclosure Legal Aid Project. The Project is a joint effort of the Northwest Justice Project and the Washington State Bar Association. I believe the lawyers do all the work pro bono (that is, for free) and they are specially trained in foreclosure assistance.

   There's also a phone number you can call to get a referral: 1-877-894-HOME (4663).

   The sites had some great information and I did call Sharon Best. She was incredibly helpful and has given me the answers and help that I needed.
