As the community supports these terrific food trucks in Highland Park at 12th and Holden, various other food trucks are arriving to serve their delicious wares and expand the days on which choices are offered. Thank you Lumpia World for getting this going and to HPIC (Highland Park Improvement Club) for opening your parking lot to them.

This is important for this neighborhood's morale, since Zippy's, Seamart and JoJo's departed. It is fab and really affordable food but it is also just nice to chat and meet your
    hungry neighbors while waiting.

Here's the latest schedule for the pod:
parking lot at 12th and Holden):

    Saturday, 11am-3pm:
    Lumpia World,
    Curry Now and
    Charlie’s Buns

    Sunday, 12pm-4:30pm:
    Big Food Mobile

    Monday, 5pm-8pm:
    Lumpia World
    and Charlie’s Buns

guess they haven't updated their site. they are at HPIC (12th and Holden) this afternoon. Just went by on our way back home. I was told by a customer seated at one of their two big tables that the made-to-order flatbread they use to serve all of their braised meats is really good. They use the same flatbread as a sweet bread with some sugar and cinnamon sprinkled on it - all super fresh and grilled up toasty warm. Yum.

I don't know if it is standard food truck equipment, but Big Food mobile truck has a flat panel TV with weekend sports so nobody has to miss any plays just to grab something to eat.
