  1. Wow, I just noticed that this onramp is closed this morning. WTF? Why weren't we given any warning???

I just noticed Google Maps hasn't been updated. Can I follow Google's directions, drive straight into a bunch of busted up concrete, and sue them for a zillion dollars? :-)

  8. google is local, employ lots of locals, good for the local economy...be nice to them :)

sue Microsoft because their Bing Map is less than desirable. Yeah, they're local, too...but...it's Microsoft ;-)

  10. Metro bus hasn't updated their web stuff either, a little bit ago I took the bus to georgetown and got to hike through some pretty crunchy construction sites after basing my walk on directions for stops and roads that no longer exist.

I just heard that the only way to get from downtown to W Seattle is to take I-5 to Tacoma to pick up Hiway 16 to Gig Harbor and then work your way to Southworth to catch the ferry to the Fauntleroy ferry terminal. Does anyone know if it is faster to go to Edmonds to catch the ferry to Bainbridge Island and take Hiway 3 to Port Orchard and then work your way to Southworth? I only have a half hour to make the trip ...

  13. So thankful the DOT is tweeting lowerswingingbridge openings. A lot of times when I read Twitter on my phone while driving it's not very useful information.

    BobLoblaw -

    So funny.

Remember people, after June 10, the WSP is going to be ticketing for cell use while driving - no warnings any longer!

  17. Too bad they can't impound the violator's cell phone, like they do the cars of drunk drivers.
