    Our fig tree is mostly ripe. Since the rain they are exploding literally. The food banks can\'t use them because they don\'t store for a long time. As you pick more will grow. I would rather them go into someone stomach then all over the driveway ect. I don\'t know how to download a picture to show you the tree, just take my word on it. If interested please call me at 206-427-6454. If you pick some that are bit hard they will ripen up nicely.

    Check with these folks if you still have surplus:
    http://www.gleanit.org/index.html. They may have recipients that can take something like that and use it immediately.
