I know this has been discussed before, but I'm shopping for an eye doctor. Anyone have any favorites that are good and kind and maybe even funny? :)

My family loves Dr. Jennifer Weaver at the Binyon Vision Center in Burien. I heard about her from several people at work who have been going to her for years. She has quite a following!

GoGo- my family and I have been seeing Dr. David Lechner @ West Seattle Eye Clinic @ Westwood Town Center for 30+ years! He has a very mellow bedside manner & we like him a lot!

I second I Care Vision Center. I went there and had a great experience. Small office but very friendly staff and excellent doctor.

Another vote for Dr. Lechner. We started going to him many years ago. A friend's son took a sharp pencil to the eye just before a holiday weekend. He was the only Dr. that would see him that day and he went over and above, going in to the clinic all 3 days of the weekend to check on the boy. We were very impressed.

It's a little out of the way, but I can't rave enough about the entire staff at Roosevelt Vision. I have had years of disappointing eye doctors and always felt like I was being shuffled in and out. Roosevelt Vision was recommended to me and they are really fantastic. They take their time and I felt like they genuinely care about getting my prescription and contact lens type perfect.

Peter Adachi is great. His office is downtown, but he lives in West Seattle.
