Hey all - where's a good place to get Ethiopian food? Preferably West Seattle, but anywhere in the area would be helpful. Thanks, folks! :)

Does anyone have a phone number for them? Any chance it might be good for take out. A coworker is welcoming some new folks to the neighborhood and wanted to bring some by their house while they're getting settled.

This is really indirectly responsive to your post Cait, so sorry about the interruption; but I saw that High Point Community Center has just begun holding cooking classes this fall for East African cooking (Ethiopian and Eritrean) and thought it was very cool. Not the same as going out to Pan Africa Grill, but still cool. How DOES one make injera so that it sponges up those sauces and stews so perfectly? Slurp! :P
So, yeah, somebody write a review of Pan Africa already!

Hi Cait, details are in short supply at the moment as they just opened on Tuesday. Here's the post re the grand opening: http://westseattleblog.com/2011/09/west-seattle-restaurants-inside-pan-africa-grill-opening-tuesday

Awash over in Columbia City is quite tasty and spicy and from W. Seattle is quite easy to get to. They do have some non-spicy dishes but much of it has a kick.
If you go for lunch though don't expect it to be fast. It was pretty much one person doing everything.
Dinner service was more reasonable as it seems they had more help.
