Empty ink cartridge?

    I know this may be dense, but does anyone know where to take empty computer ink cartridges? I don\'t want to toss them in the garbage.

    Staples, for sure...and you might ask A-1 Best (formerly Quidnunc)...

    Staples definitely does. Many schools/PTSAs have a fundraising plan where they take them to recycle and get a little $$ in return.

    Also, I recently learned that Office Max has refillable cartridges. I think there are certain types that are eligible, but you just bring your empty black ink cartridge in and they will refill it for about $5 less than a new one.

    Find an elementary school that is recycling them -- they get a surprising amount of $$ for them. Ours -- Arbor Heights Elem -- has a box in the lobby you can drop them off. Really, they\'re a great source of cash for schools.
