Election and Baseball Results ---

    I saw the list of official election celebrations but I wondered if anyone knows of local bars that might be showing election results along with a few brief moments of the World Series. I suspect I'll stay home with the bob, the katskys, and the clicker - but just wanted to check our options. Go Yankees! Go Dow! :-)

    Funny thing is that there will not be much to show - King County online currently indicates ONE results dump at 8:15 pm

    Last election they also had a 10-something pm run so I find it hard to believe they will really ONLY do one run tonight, but maybe it's an overtime thing. Am calling the media line shortly to check.

    Yeah, no game till tomorrow. Yankees would have lost if they had to play on election night, though. Democracy and the Yankees don't mix. They're more of a dictatorship.

    I just hope they don't break into any of my TV shows with election news (unless it's a small runner at the bottom of the screen). If I wanted to be watching election results, I'd be watching one of the billion all-news channels that exist.

    KUOW is going to be broadcasting results starting at 8pm. 94.9 FM.
