Does anyone have a rock tumbler?

    Does anyone have a rock tumbler I can use, borrow or rent?
    I have some bandannas that need softening.

    I have a tumbler I use for Scotch on the rocks, if that would help (Scotch not included, sorry.)

    When I first saw your post, I misread it as saying you needed to soften some 'bananas.' Many years ago I worked at an Air Force mess hall as a civilian. Contrary to the picture we have of grunts hand-peeling potatoes, they have an 'automatic potato peeler' which is basically a container the size of a small garbage can coated with a sandpaper-like finish. A rotating base tumbles the potatoes while a stream of water rinses them; takes about 15 min. to peel a 50# sack of taters. One of the guys I worked with misheard the sergeant and peeled a bunch of tomatoes ...
