Do you know Newton the cat?

I've been thinking a lot about a cat that used to live beside me in Ballard (63rd and 28th). His name was Newton. He was old, hated the cold ground, and his meows sounded like a croak. I didn't have a cat, but Newton would come around often and hang out with me. He moved to West Seattle about five or six years ago and I missed him terribly. Then I moved to West Seattle three years ago, and I started wondering if maybe he (or his owner) was still around. He's a brown tabby cat with a notch cut out of one his ears, and loves laying in your lap.

Does anyone know Newton? And if so, is he still with us?

If your mean by "notch" is it straight across?

Upon looking back through pictures, no, the notch isn't straight across. It's a little v-shaped notch in the side of his right ear, up near the top. There's a tiny notch in the very top of his left ear, as well.

He looks fixed:). notches are probably from fights back in the day. I don't recognize him, but that doesn't say much. LOL
