Disposing of lots of cardboard?

I'm looking for a place to get rid of tons of cardboard. I have about 20 or 30 moving boxes, and odd shaped packing boxes that things like desks and chairs came in from recently moving here. Is there a place that will take tons of cardboard recycling?

  5. Unless you have a really outrageous amount, you should be able to put it out on the curb for pickup. There is no charge for additional recycling.

  6. is it plain brown cardboard ? (like chairs from Ikea) or printed? you could also take them to the SW community orchard at SSCC, they were looking for cardboard recently. don't know if they still are.

  7. Last I heard from Aviva at Community Harvest they were negotiating storage space with SSCC for cardboard. You might contact them directly - info@gleanit.org to find out their current needs.

  8. Put an ad on Craigslist for free moving boxes. I have always been able to get rid of boxes within a couple of days that way, and passing them on is better than recycling them anyway.
