Dessert and Coffee rec?

    OK friends, let me have it. What's your recommendation for the place with the best dessert and coffee/espresso?

    ok, i'll get the ball rolling.

    Bakery Nouveau.
    Anything there pretty much without exception. However, that twice-baked chocolate croissant? Oohlala!

    fun thread!

    I was just at Cactus for my bday and the brownie-caramel- ice cream was soooo good - salty/sweet/creamy goodness. I think they have coffee drinks.

    Also love love the chocolate cake w/hot chocolate ganache at Circa.

    I second Bakery N for grabbing on-the-go fabulous sweet treats - not a relaxing sit-in place tho.

    Also really enjoy the variety of cupcake choices at Coffee-to-a Tea.

    Have fun trying WS desserts and report back!

    Maybe an underdog suggestion ... Caffe Ladro.

    Many summer nights, the now-Teen and I walked down the hill (mile from our house) and sat down to share a cookie or slice of cheesecake or pie.

    Neither of our coffee sponsors (Hotwire and C&P) are open as late as Ladro.
