   Last night, I and my 3 year old went for a post-supper ice cream cone at the Husky Deli. We'd just had a fabulous dinner at Lee's, served by sweet and helpful servers there. My daughter attacked her ice cream with such vigor that it toppled off of her cone. I went inside to purchase her an new one and they informed me that they don't charge for a new one when that happens. I tipped big and thanked them profusely. I thought I'd pass that on because it only adds to my experiences of kindness there over the years.

   Additionally, one of the nice gals at Capers gave my daughter a wee tiara as we tried out the couches there.

   All in all, a banner evening for friendly, kind folks at the Junction.

   That's so nice. I was at Baskin Robbin's one time and my friend's daughter dumped her ice cream cone on the floor and they refused to give her a new one. Said she had to pay for it. We haven't been back.

   Husky has been a family favorite for many years. It’s nice to be reminded that decency and good PR is still alive and well in the junction.

   West Seattle has the best ice cream experience (s) of anywhere else in Seattle. I'm including Full Tilt even though they are in White Center. I always have amazing experiences at both Husky and Full Tilt. Every time, without fail. Husky also has Nutella!

   Walking to Huskey Deli for an ice cream cone in the early evening hours in the summer time has brought back many memories. I was always running into someone I knew in the West Seattle Community in Huskeys while having an ice cream cone.

   mmmmm icecream. mmmmmm Nutella. Peanut butter is also amazing on vanilla icecream. Better than PB flavored IMHP, lol.
