Lisa at Vos Decoro in Wallingford (two blocks off I-5, so a quick drive)
She's been cutting my (Jew-Fro) hair for almost 10 years, and is fabulous. She's seen me through super-short to super-long and everything in between, and my hair always looks fantastic. She's young and hip, but never intimidating, and above all else will be HONEST with you about what will and won't work.

Hi Pugperson,
My name is Samantha, and I just moved her from Illinois last week. I am a stylist at Via Salon in West Seattle, and would love to cut your curly hair!! :) I have been a stylist for 4 years and have worked with a TIGI educator for 2 years, if you have any questions or would like to book an appointment my number is 217-474-1311, thanks!! :)Posted 1 year ago # -
Tina at Spex (downtown) is amazing. Don't let her short, stick straight hair fool you. She is convinced she had curly hair in a past life. All her clients are curlies and she is certified by the Devachon salon in NY (maker of all the Deva products for curly hair). She has been cutting my hair for a couple years now and has never given me a bad cut. She is the only person I've ever found who cuts my hair dry, curl-by-curl, and has never sent me home looking like an electrocuted poodle like other stylists have.

What are rates for the above recs? Thanks!

Lisa @ Vos Decoro is $60. She's the owner, so no tipping necessary, though I always do because she deserves it. If your haircut is easy, I suspect it may be less, but I have a TON of hair that's all different textures, and it takes some wet cutting and some dry cutting to make it work right.

Jennifer at The Forsythe Studio is amazing. She gave me the best cut I have ever had in January. She was at a different salon then. Also, Jennifer did not complain once about how thick my hair is. Refreshing, right?!
