   I just got a robo-call from Comcast about a planned Internet outage for systems upgrades on March 28th from midnight to 5am. I'm near the Alaska Junction but I'm not sure of the breadth of this outage.

   Just thought I'd throw this post up preemptively in the event that anyone out there misses the warning or wonders what happens when their Net connection goes down late tonight.

   My Comcast phone service just went out around 11:15 am.

   Christopher - you must have "business class" Comcast service. I was told by Comcast that only business class customers receive advance notice of planned outages. Peons like myself do not :(

   Comcast says service is only supposed to go out for a few minutes during that window. If you are a night owl and notice more, let me know, I'll be up for at least part of it. After reading this, I contacted Steve Kipp from Comcast, who just replied:
   >>We will be doing maintenance on the vast majority of our service area in West Seattle. The work will take place between 2 a.m. and 5 a.m. We anticipate that service will be interrupted for about 5 minutes. The time of the interruption will vary depending on when we do the maintenance work on the equipment serving that neighborhood.

   All of the work will take place at our headend facility in Burien and won't involve construction crews working out in the individual neighborhoods.<<

   Comcast cable tv has been out since 10pm; is anyone getting access to Comcast cable tv right now? I'm so damn sick and tired of Comcast outages, literally just about every day

   I was unable to access Internet last night late! Same this AM. I tried the computers downstairs in building where I live and got same thing til 3:00pm or so this afternoon. We couldn't figure out what was going on. We have wireless in our building. We live near 35th & Morgan.
