I am looking for any recommendations for daycare facilities in West Seattle for an infant. I am open to either in-home or a daycare center. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

  2. Providence Mt. St. Vincent (the nursing home on 35th) has a wonderful day care center called the Intergenerational Learning Center. My sons both go there full time. They provide high quality care by teachers with appropriate levels of education in early childhood development and do a lot of fun activities with the residents. It is a well regarded program nationally. It traditionally has a long wait-list, like any of the good day care centers in Seattle, but the economy has effected that somewhat and I hear that the waitlist is shorter.

Hi Oliver; you are very lucky to have your kids there; curious when you heard they might have shorter list; their phone recording last month (and verified when I met with the Director) said the wait list was so long that it was closed
