Census jobs, again

    I'm at Alki Community Council right now and there's another pitch for census job applicants - in the "Alki tract alone," the group's been told, 33 people are needed. Here's the URL again:

    so why don't they call any of us on the list?

    I applied many months ago, took tests, scored high; we were told they would call us when needed; geesh, crazy

    Diane,
    I just came back from taking the test in burien. They will not be calling us until early to mid march, and training should be conducted at the end of march. The reasoning is that we only work AFTER the census has been mailed and we go to peoples houses who don't return the census.
    SO long story short, calling tomorrow would be a waste of time.
