So there’s a Car2Go parked in front of my house, since yesterday afternoon, and the radio is on. I can only hear it outside, so it’s not a nuisance, but I’m sure the battery will be dead soon.
I’ve emailed them and not heard back. Does anyone know of a better way to contact them? (I’m not a subscriber)
I tried logging in and looking for a phone #, but was shocked that they did not have one listed! I did find one in the car2go app though: (877) 488-4224. It would probably be helpful if you had the license place # as well as the location when you call.
Thanks, Sue. I tried that number, with the plate number and location, and haven’t heard anything. It’s not a big deal to me, I just don’t want to see a user end up paying for a car with a dead battery.
Car2Go communicates a lot via Twitter so I just tweeted the link to this thread at them & asked if any advice (maybe too late for this car but at least for the future) – they advised e-mail, so you pretty much did all you could – this was the e-mail they mentioned: seattle@car2go.com – and the same # Sue found.
They’re “looking into it,” anyway (I guess there can’t be too many reports in their system of a C2G in West Seattle with a radio playing). Thanks for trying so hard just to do a good deed! – TR
