   I saw something completely new this morning....

   This morning (before 7:00 am) there was a sedan (yes, a car, a '90s Ford Thunderbird or something, of a maroon color) parked on the lower West Seattle bridge sidewalk/path with the flashers flashing, right before the gate area on the west side of the bridge. It was facing eastbound.

   I have never seen a car there in my 10+ years of commuting. And I wonder how it got there...the driver either had to have come up West Marginal way to the barricaded turn-about at the top and driven onto the sidewalk/path and followed it up...or from the Spokane St. roadway eastbound, somehow driven over the rather large curb, through the bark area and then onto the sidewalk/path. It's not easy to do this here! Someone must have been really trying to find a new driving route!

   Hiccup! This might almost be funny but I would wager someone was very inebriated. I hope no one was hurt along the way of this driver.

   i once saw a white monte carlo parked on the sidewalk, inches from the door of vesuvio in north beach, san francisco. it had the word azucar (sugar) stenciled on it.

   the driver was selling cocaine.

   food for thought.

   ffs: it's just vesuvio. (no second 's'.) i've whiled away a few afternoons in that place...

   and in san francisco brewing company, right down the street.

   oh, noes! sf brewing appears to have closed since i was in the bay area last. bummer.

   Try to give a shout out to some common ground and catch a rolled up newspaper for an 's'.

   Annnnnnnd...yep. I think I'm now done with comments and the forums. Back to lurking and eye rolling.

   San Franciscans call it Vesuvio's and that's good enough for me =)
