Does anyone have any good experiences with a pet service that would come to our house to feed/water our cat, change her litter, give her some love, and even bring in our mail while we're out of town? Pet boarding is out of the question since she's a nervous wreck leaving the house. Many thanks!

Give Sheri at Catspaw a try:

We do it for our neighbors (for free, of course.)
If you live nearby on Alki, we'd gladly do it for you.angelescrestk at g mail dot com

We too do that for our neighbors. If you have to go with a professional service I would recommend http://www.4ontheflooronline.com. I know these folks and their small staff. Very reliable, friendly and reasonable.

Yep - we usually ask friends or family to mind the cat, or if it's a short trip give her big bowls of food and water. She sleeps most of the time and it's probably a vacation for her when the 4-year-old isn't home to 'play'.

My daughter is available she has taken care of our cats for 5 years now and she cat sits for family and friends. $5.00 per day, give your cat lots of attention.

I recommend Zendiggitydog. She cares for both cats and dog. Only serves the West Seattle community. Nice person.

206-923-2463 Connie Conley, Leave it to me pet care. She's great, we've used her for 10 years every time we go out of town. I prefer to hire someone vs using friends. She brings in the mail, puts the trash out on the curb, scoops the litter, etc. Plays with the cats too. She makes sure to check on the shy cat who always hides too, just to make sure he's ok. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

I echo Sherry at Catspa.. I've used her for 16 years and she is a cat expert and wins over even the most aloof.

Another vote for Sherry at Catspa. She's taken care of our cats for 15 years. We have cats that need meds and extra monitoring, and she does a wonderful job.
