I held a yard sale this weekend and had a visit from a very oddly dressed man. He had on a Hawaiian style shirt, completely unbuttoned and a pair of tiny running shorts. What made it unusual was that the legs of the running shorts had been rolled up and tucked in for a "high cut" style. That's a little odd, but he also had the waist band rolled way, way down so that a LOT of his "privacy hedge" was sticking out!! He was clearly not a fan of manscaping. I'm really hard to shock and I'm all for letting your freak flag fly, but his outfit was really gross and his demeanor was a little creepy. Thank goodness the gaggle of adorable tweens had already been and gone. Has anyone else encountered this guy? Am I overreacting? Should I have done something? I told my boyfriend that he gets to work the next yard sale!

Perhaps inspired by the People of Walmart website?

I had not seen that site yet! Now I regret not getting a picture of him.

Pampire, I pondered on your OP this afternoon and talked about it with my S.O. over a martini before dinner. This guy was inappropriate (and his actions a bit creepy). Someone should have called him on it. I'm glad that in retrospect you have decided that your boyfriend should be with you when you have another sale.

pigeonmom - if this was 15 years ago and my dad lived here, I would of pegged him for this person :)
I wear cargo shorts in the warm and not-so-warm weather :) I don't want anyone to be exposed to my body hair unlike the gentleman that was described in the OP :)

pigeonmom, I think you violated "the rule that should go without saying" by calling out lazybeard like that.
(I'm totally joking, and maybe just a little miffed that I spent the last 10 minutes cleaning coffee off of my computer screen after reading your post :)
