Brazilian Portuguese Practice Needed

    My son's home from college for a few more days and desperate to practice the Portuguese he learned in Rio this summer.

    I lived in Brazil for a little more than a year (Brasilia) back in the 80's (one of the best years of my life) and was able to pick up quite a bit of Portuguese while there.

    Sadly in the many years since I have lost most of it, however do get to stumble over it when we occasionally go downtown to eat at the Ipanema Grill

    Your son will notice that it is very similar to a Brazilian restaurant, yet different, and he'll be able to speak it there as most of the staff is Brazilian born and raised.

    Oh how I love those Caipirinhas made with Cachaça!!!
